EDITORIAL COMMENT:
We recently had the priviledge of viewing a remarkable presentation on balancing the male and female energies, and on the forgotten wisdom of Mary Magdelane, by Lesley Crossingham.

Believing that the divine spark within Maryam of Magdalene is within us all, Lesley went int search of this wisdom, and in search of her voice.  The result is a beautiful book called AMMA'NA'THA.

For all those seeking to balance the femine and masculine energies, we recommend that you place Amma'na'tha on your reading list.

We also went to see a wonderful film called 'As It Was in Heaven'.   This beautifully crafted film contained inumerable lessons.    We give it 5 stars and thoroughly recommend it.

Don't forget to check out our website for an update on Cosmic Energies and Events.    It is important to be aware of the energies that are available to you to assist your Ascension.

UPCOMING NEWS & EVENTS:

In the last edition of Medici News, we announced the launch of The Medici Charter Mystery School
of Higher Learning - A Spiritual Renaissance for the Golden Age, to be held on the Central Coast.

If you are a serious spiritual seeker, whether you practice within a tradition or have created your own personal spiritual path, we invite you to join us for a potentially life-transforming series of 24 all-day Saturday lessons (held fortnightly), commencing July 2007, and spanning a period of twelve months.

This programme has been created by the Medici Charter specifically for independent, clear thinkers
who wish to deepen their spiritual lives.

It offers a combination of teachings, advanced meditative practices, the understanding and invoking
of Cosmic Energies and Forces, and facilitated discussion - all designed to take you to new depths
of understanding and awareness.

This course is for the seasoned practitioner who has a daily meditative practice.

Course Outline:

'Walking in the Footsteps of the Master'.

Part 1:
Lessons for the Ascension -
The 32 Paths of Wisdom and the 16 Hidden Paths of Wisdom of the Tree of Life.

Part 2:
The Seven Chohans for Earth - A Study of the Colours and Attributes of the Rays.

Part 3:
Healing By Intent -
The Healing Method Taught by Jesus.

Course Structure:

1.
To study the 32 Paths of Wisdom of the Tree of Life through discourse and open discussion.

2.  To experience deep meditation which will expand and enhance the vibrational level of participants.

3.  To study the colours of the Rays, and to promote an understanding of the Masters of each Ray and  the aspects of the Tree of Life which they each embody.

4.  To implement the practice of invoking the Cosmic Energies, a practice which has the potential to transform the participant at a deep cellular level.

5.  For the participant to physically experience the power of sound and the role it can play in clearing any blockages and raising their vibrations.

6.  Healing through Intent - the true healing method practiced by Jesus.

The Philosophy of our Mystery School:

1.  It is our intent, through the power of our teachings, to raise the energy of participants.

2.  To elevate the vibrations of each individual, through the combined energies achieved by the group, to the highest possible level participants are capable of achieving.

3.  To provide ongoing teachings that will sustain high vibrational energy levels for the participants.

4.  To provide a deeper level of meditation that will transform and deepen their intuitive communication.

5.  To instill in the participants the joy and freedom of living a spiritual life.

6.  To provide a forum for communion with others on the Path with whom participants can enhance their spiritual life.

Fees:

The cost of the 24 week course is $2,280, and a deposit of $570 for the first quarter is required in advance.   Course notes will be supplied at the end of each fortnightly session.

Conscience

I expect that you all know that conscience is that which tells you that you should not steal, or it is not right to do this or that, or it is not right to lie.  It tells you it is not right to do what you know is wrong.

Because you have free will, you don't have to listen to your concience.  You can be given the right teachings but at any time you can decide you want nothing to do with them.   That is your free will.  The only thing you can't do is to be protected against love.  Love will protect you from everything except that you can't be protected from yourself.  This is where you have to get your act together.  All this teaching can do is to help you to know how to get your act together.

You are brought up from childhood to believe that certain things are right and certain things are wrong.  These things are influenced by your parent's belief system and if you accept these things, as often children do, you feel guilty if you start to question them.

What your parents teach you may not be right but you believe and accept because children tend to believe their parents.  You trust them so you believe that they are right and so your conscience guides you according to what your parents have told you is right or wrong.

Depending on what kind of a child you were depends on whether you listened to your conscience or not.
That also depends on your position on the evolutionary path and the spiritual path, whether you, even as a child, listened to your conscience because you start in this life where you left off in another life.  That is why there are some children who are obedient, who don't like to lie, and always do the right thing.  There are other children where this doesn't seem to matter.   Partly that is the environment that they chose and partly it is where they were up to in another life.  They can grow or they can set themselves back a bit, but hopefully the latter doesn't happen.

Now you have things that your parents tell you is right, and it is a lot of the time, and you have where society says certain things are right and certain things are wrong.  The various societies think differently.

In a Christian society, the belief is that a man can have only one wife, whereas in some Moslem societies a man can have more.  In a Christian society, a man or woman can go to jail for committing bigamy.  That is society taking the place of conscience.  I am not saying which is right or which is wrong, for perhaps they are both right.  Sometimes if you obey your conscience you can end up in jail and you don't want that to happen.  Therefore, you follow society because you don't want to take the punishment.

The message I want to get across here is that your conscience is not what society is forcing upon you.  You have got what society says is right and what your conscience guides you in.  Sometimes they agree, and sometimes they do not.

Also, you can have the opposite effect where you can set yourself bad rules, where it is okay to lie, to steal, and to justify wrongdoing, and in those circumstances your conscience isn't going to bother you when you do the wrong thing because you have effectively blocked your Higher Self in some aspect of your conscience.

You can use that tool one way or the other and I would hope that you use it positively and allow your Higher Self to control you via your conscience.

Now, we will look at the understanding aspect of conscience.  What you really need at this stage is to understand the rules that you are working under that are holding you back.  Maybe there aren't any, but maybe one or two that you are living your life by are inappropriate for you now and your conscience as an aide to bringing about spiritual growth will help you to weed out the old outmoded rules for your being and replace them with those more appropriate to you now.

It is only when you understand what is right and what is wrong, and why it is so, that your conscience can truly guide you rightly.

Your conscience guides you according to what you have sanctified.  As you evolve spiritually, you become more in touch with Universal truths and can discern which of your local religious beliefs and daily customes conform to these truths, and which are the product of the mind of man.

As a result of this, certain things that you had previously sanctified you now see as being unworthy of this and vice versa.  Your conscience automatically adjusts to this and guides you accordingly.

FEATURED POEM:

The Source of All Things
Copyright (c) Janette Wighton 2007

Who holds you in His arms, wiping the tear from your eye,
and spreads your wings and helps you to fly?
The Source of All Things.
Who stands beside you when courage flees,
and helps life flow again with grace and ease?
The Source of All Things.
Who fills a mother's heart with a love so strong,
when she clasps her new born babe to her bosom where it belongs?
The Source of All Things.
Who brings tears to your eyes when great beauty you admire,
and gives you inspiration for the things that you desire?
The Source of All Things.
Who visits your dreams and keeps your heart beating,
bringing you lessons in chaos and time fleeting?
The Source of All Things.
Who holds your hand and guides your life,
and steers your course through trouble and strife?
The Source of All Things.
Who opens your eyes, giving you the wisdom to see,
that life is a journey and in Him you must be?
The Source of All Things.
Who gives you the greatest gift of all,
the freedom to live and become your all?
The Source of All Things.

And so it is.
