(www.medicicharter.com) today, Managing Director Janette Wighton announced two new national literary competitions each with prize money of $A1,000 1st Prize, $A500 2nd Prize, and $A250 3rd Prize. The first competition, THE 2006 MEDICI CHARTER POETRY PRIZE, is for the best inspirational poem/s about 'love', and the second competition, THE 2006 MEDICI CHARTER LITERARY PRIZE, is for the best 'spiritual journey story'. The company intends to publish the poetry and stories that meet the judge's criteria in each category in two anthologies entitled 'Inspirations of Love' and 'Soul Journeys' in time for Christmas Sale. The MEDICI CHARTER came into being because Janette Wighton through her work as a spiritual teacher and mentor for more than 20 years, became increasingly aware that there were many talented, creative people who were producing profound spiritual writings, poetry and art who did not have the means or the marketing knowledge to either promote themselves or have their work marketed and published. She is supported in her vision by her fellow directors Fay Dubber and Margaret Maalat. The company specialises in books, artwork, and other spiritual product which expresses spiritual growth, philosophy, and metaphysics of the highest order.
